A parable is a simple story used to illustrate a moral or spiritual lesson. Jesus spoke in parables so that those to whom the Spirit touched could understand the deeper meaning of the story.
A closer look
Let the seed or the Word take root in your heart and share the gospel message so that the Holy Spirit has an opportunity to convict hearts and draw the lost to salvation. Share your journey with others. Sow your spiritual seed because you do not know where it will fall, the lives it will touch, or the hope it will bring to others. Likewise, you can only see the one seed, but God know how much that one seed will produce. It may bless only one or the souls of a 1000 generations!
