Our mission to Mexico!

 

Each July a team from Cornerstone travels to Saltillo, Mexico to work with our missionary, Mario Cerda, and Iglesia Bautista El Salvador.

In the months leading up to the trip, we begin planning and collecting items like candy, small prizes, school supplies, etc. to take with us. Daniel Beltrán and his wife Lucy set up Bible clubs in local neighborhoods.

We split up into four teams and help them as they present the gospel through Bible stories, songs, missionary stories, and scripture memory.

One Bible club is held in their church. Over 200 children come to these clubs and many accept Jesus as their Savior. In the afternoons, we help work on church projects as well as divide up school supplies and backpacks for the children.

It is such a blessing and honor to work side by side with such devoted fellow believers in Mexico. Each year, God teaches us more about His faithfulness, provision, and love.
